The Holy Grail

Ever since I've learnt the word "MAGIC", I've always wondered- "what would it be like to be able to make magic?"
Nature can create anything out of nothing. God made the Sun, the Moon, the Stars & the entire Universe almost out of nothing! How powerful must they feel! No... not powerful, Magical!
Our creator has, thankfully, been kind enough to bless each one of us with the power of creation.
Fortunately, I've once had an opportunity to witness the divine magic unfolding itself under a microscope in one of my biology practicals. It was a sight I can never forget. I still remember vividly how spell-bound I was when I saw this tiny little thing which would eventually grow into a complete living being. It was pink and purple, it was golden and silver. It had a little bit of orange and lots of shimmer. I realized how every woman is grateful to god for letting her create this beautiful magic inside of her. She would go through any degree of physical torment, just to bear, nourish & be a part of the miracle of giving birth, of creating! All the pain and the discomfort, that she endured for months together, vanishes as she looks at the two little eyes that shine at her & tell her that she means everthing to it; the elfin palms & feet with tiny fingers & toes that rise to touch her face; the scarce hair on its head that feels like silk; the pink, soft skin that reminds her of what she experienced when she felt a lily against her skin for the first time when she was a kid.
She was someone else before this moment. Now, there is a new her born, who whispers quietly into her baby's ears- I am your friend, I am your teacher, I am your fairy, I am ... your MOTHER!
